Who Are The Dj's On Here, And What Styles They Play
Maybe it would be of some value to have in the lookbacks a section for HONEST reviews about the DJ's and what they played- promotors could then decide whether or not to attend said venue to check out potential DJ's in action. Tony

I Wasn't Defending Bootlegs
I don't think the argument was essentially anti oldies or anti bootlegs. Without the oldies there would not be a scene. bootlegs- fine for your own use. However, the whole point about this scene used to be to listen to, dance to etc RARE, as in not widely known, soul music You had to travel, usualy, to find the Clubs that had the tunes. Nowadays, with a night starting every week, any one with a 50 box of pressings can be a superstar and play a 'brilliant' set, chances are that you'll find something at the end of your street, so travelling not required. Ah well, Tony
