Was the comment by Simon Cowell perhaps ??
Esther's voice is a unique instrument, not to everybodys taste,
but thats why we love this thing of ours

Juniors is one of my favourite records of all time.
have the Motherlode and quite partial to it.
There's a late 70s/early 80s version on Epic that's not bad, but i can't remember who it is
Tony
And do both the aforementioned versions have the same backing track as
Larry Laster/Atkins/ Ty Karim etc
or have we quickly drifted into a discussion of how many versions of "Somebody Somewhere "??
And just for good measure, who used it first ??
T
Well done to Carms for getting what seems to me a bit of a bargain.
Got me thinking though-How many times has this classic backing track been used
Larry Laster
Larry Atkins(Same fella?)
Ike & Tina
Ty Karim
Any more out there??
Tony
I can honestly say that in the whole of my "career" I have never been pulled or searched by DS, real or otherwise.
I put it down to my Youthful & Innocent looking visage
Well, I used to.

Dunno, every one I've seen is an obvious boot, like that one.
I know Chip Tyler did work with Billy Vera, but someone with more knowledge than I will have to find the connection
