Also got a demo copy of Cleo's Mood - Junior Walker -which is stamped " Coast to Coast", which I like to believe was used in the Lenny Henry thing of the same name from a few years back( probably isn't though ) Tony

Well, Can't think of many bad ones to be honest-. Good starting point would be The Rare Stamps LP-JJ Barnes & Steve Mancha. Happy listening. ATB Tony
  7. Hi Bernie, your name rings a distant bell, do you know the Warburtons-Walt & Ricky, lived on Newury st. before moving to Holcombe Close ?? Sammy Turnbull also rings a bell, pretty sure I was at St. Clements with Dave Silcock. Some of the Salford Youth Clubs I remember North Salford-pretty much opposite Broughton Baths Peter Greens- was on Silk Street estate I think... Whit Lane. Cromwell road. 9. Bloody Nora, I never thought I'd see the Keystone mentioned anywhere, very fond memories-even though I never went in, I'll explain. When we were first moved to Ellor Street( now more commonly called The Precinct) in 1970 I was 14, the bouncers at The Keystone were far too strict to let the likes of me through the doors. So we used to sit on a wall outside listening to the music Sad, innit?? Many years later, Brian Walker told me that a number of" Wheelers" frequently attended. ATB Tony

  16. Originally on Princess Street in one of the old office blocks, Asia House (or something like that), went into a small area with a counter, rang a bell and they (usually Rick Cooper) brought a list out for you to choose from. Remember hearing Dean Parrish I. O. M. W. for he first time at The Pendulum and Bary announcing Global had 'em in. The queue started early That Saturday ATB Tony
