Yip. The Butler is quality but just hasnt got the instant 'come on lets ave yaaa' drive that Johnny Howard has. So that me, Shane and the guy before Shane. 3 going for the Bashie ;-))

I've played the Butler out. Great track there Kenny BUT Not as good as Johnny Howard, which i will play out now Bashie wins IMO

I need to buy a portable record player. Was gonig to be the Vestax till I found out that Numark do one now. Both have exactly the same specs but the Numark PT01 (apart from being a tad cheaper) is quite a bit smaller - 12" diagonal and will fit in a record bag (or lots of other sorts of bags too) Anyone have any experience of the Numark. Want to know how it sounds like through the speaker. TIA

yeah, i went there a few years ago. Soon as you walk in you get the feeling that the place has been pillaged. And just far too many records...i bought about 6 records and that was just to show i had something for my 6 hours in there. If you go look through any records that he hasnt been through and put away yet.

you can tell cos you can pick the label off on styrene 45's. All my styrene 45's at home are now only labelled on one side. If i ever sell them i shall class them as being cocked-up at the pressing plant, ultra rare and get more money Though some Styrenes have the 'label' design printed straight onto the styrene. this is not a problem though cos the comes off with meths.
