  1. Julian, I think its just where he has taken the photo straight in front on the other side and its the flash that has darkened the label.
  2. THe other side is Superb!
  3. the liner notes mention the 'gutter' single, but not that it's on the lp
  4. seen any where between £100 and £150
  5. Rising Sun - Good Loving - Kingston...please. Thank you
  6. Ian... True Lovers is a great record - this is the B side, and just cos it is listed on a site does not mean it is up for that side;' and not any where near what 'we' want - unless 'we' like Hermins Hermits which is what it sounds like...there are many bad 'other' side to good norther records. many of them... but to highlight a B side is unfair... I agree with others, lets stick to the sides which are supposed to be northern... Blance Carter is truely the worst record played on the NS scene and it makes me want to puke
  7. Tim Brown. Kev Roberts. ady C
  8. Yes a few years ago. one on Manships auction at the mo
  9. i was thinking the opposite, Marc, and seeing some stuff go for less that i thought they would - excluding this 45, of course
  10. if oftern does, Frynny
  11. PML. at least the room mates Dad knows what northern soul is
  12. Tommy from Yate might have
  13. I will second that as a very tasty record. it is excellent. and it only just oocured to me that the B side 'Theme from Nap' must refer to Indianapolis and not the title music of some old tv/film i'd never heard of
  14. THey are not there Ted - there will be a 'Listen' one the righthand side under Condition. i usually find the sound clips come a while after the list goes up.
  15. shifty sold one about3.5 years ago - ( i think, not 100%, it was one of the Dome dj's - maybe Alans.)
  16. too high Simon; shifty had one last list for £50 and i think Pete Smith had one recently about the same... £40 to £50 bought right imo
  17. Flynny's got a load listed on his website https://www.anorakscorner.com/CoverUps.html
  18. Pat is short fro Patrice or Patrica. shes recently down some recroding with Dr Robert (blow monkeys)
  19. Hi Jayne i completed the survey in complete blindess. I didnt know what Bury Town Hall was called so i said yes to everything, for all venues and i must say all had very helpful staff. But i did draw the line at my 'Social/Tea' dances, i had to say 'no' as i get that enjoyment elsewhere
  20. i remember playing CB at the great Bournemouth xcross the board soul nites - i came off the decks and someone thanked me for playing it cos they hadn't heard it for many years. Bugger me, a few hours later Arthur F came on and played it again (Arthur was not in the room whern i played it). Twice in one nite lol, orgasm time for matie i thought
  21. i took me a year to get 'Never Learned to Dance' which considering its supposidley not that rare, is a long time - i saw quite a few same 'very rare' records go in that time. Whatever anyone tells you - it is a hard record. Central Park is good too - reminds me somewhat of 'Ordinary Joe'
  22. lucky i have an intact original
  23. is there another copy like this?? we/they/them/us had a sscdt soul alldayer up in Leeds courtesy of soulsville a few years ago and it was every DJ's duty to play 'Out on the Floor'. This is what happened to it after about the third Dj
  24. sounds not a bad price, compared to some that are a bad price personally i think its great
