excellent LOL, that told you Ted ;-)
this has proved very elusive to me over the past year or so, in which time i have got suposedly rarer tunes than this
i didn't; but then even though i know i have heard it on a few occaisions i wouldnt know the Talmadge coverup if he got off his gigi and slapped me round the face with it. Both played roy roberts on sugar; which i am certainly not complaining about
Yes, it was great* - i, cleverly, refer to it as Funkynorthern and is not out of place at northern nites and it needed it to balance the music IMO. Unlike that Wicky Wacky thing which is not nice.
*as was Marco's.
"current biggies",....you're all wrong - there are loads of 'biggies' in the last few years that are available to the local soul nite...
nino Tempo; soul brothers six; ruby andrews; dj genesis; chuck jackson etc etc
all biggies (in their time) and not restricted to certain venues or DJ's and at a soul nite near you...
(good reason to stay away from those venues, but thats not the point)
you can make your own with an old (or new even) record deck, some fairy liquid, sticky tape and an old hoover. the instructioons are on here or the web somewhere.
