I never got paid for DJing the Sunday Snug...mind you i did seem to take the decks over all afternoon/evening and i did win a Mr Potato Head in the darts competition....and i did make Kenny dance to 'Scratchy' and some loser kid asked me when the last time i washed my hair was, Ady spilling nigh on all his Guiness; Nick Brown came in and spoilt a suprise, like-minded people on comfy couches sat round late-on talking bollox; soul quiz - ben summers & crew one side - us the other with, secretly, The Rimmer on the end of the phone...these things did not happen at the same 'Snug', but... i miss the snug... Ken...sort it out and the point being...who wants to be paid for the good times? not me, thats for sure :-)

to save me and others looking back, i will post your other half here, Mike... ...Mike, you are naughty LOL... i did not reply to your second half, because, to be totally honest, my rule-book does not cover LP's...! Now, at the sake of a visit from one of me best mates, who lives 2 minutes 53 seconds walk away, i would say if my rule-book covered LP's it would not cover re-issue LP's as being ok... as for the rest of the LP deabte - it is one that i really do not understand and one that i do shy away from...i have only a handful of LP's with tracks that i could 'play out'...if my 'rulebook' did cover LP's it would be play it off the LP only - non of this 'it's another big box to carry' malarky!! If it's on LP - play the LP.! if you play a carver of the track...then why not play carvers of 45's too. One rule for one format does not cover the other. ...but (and i don't know how i let myself be dragged into this again!) i really don't give a fcuk and haven't done for some time - the venue/promoter will dictate the format of music being played; if you don't like it, don't go - there are two 'scenes' running side-by-side, each needing the other - i have written on this before and if i find it i will re-post it..
