  1. i haven't got my boot here, but i am sure it is the same design as this but its more cream in colour than white
  2. i play this out occasinionaly; niters like at Burnley; 100 Club; i like it a lot; manship had one for £400 a couple years back, but i think £300 is more like it;
  3. Benji, that may be the case my friend - but when bored with the vocal, move on...as far away from the instrumental as possible...
  4. i have the contemplations..cos i am posh...but out of interest the Contemps/Rocandy are exactly the same plates used for each issue, the deadwax in each being exactly the same. i do understand some people/DJ's do prefer the instrumental side. They are deaf.
  5. yes; a relative moved to somewhere like Southend...there's a whole thread about it last year
  6. buy a cd or two. save a few bob and still get the job done.
  7. Flippin' 'ell - i thought that Angela Davis was coming down to that much! still to take part in this - i'd say £125 to £150 (in case you want mine and it's £500 LOL)
  8. PML - it's made it funnier now though
  9. i'm sure that is F'all - compared to the old days that you hear about (in fact some poeple are prob old enough to have been there) - i know of some very, very knowledgeable person to pay lots and lots for the John/Weirdest boot when it cam out...(apperently money was restored and booter gone) so bett o'brien is nothing - and is it a boot or re-issue?
  10. well, to start the topic and insinuate that the seller is a twanker; it's got to be real bad... and "ill informed" - there some very well informed posters on this topic and they don't know... it must be real, real bad..much more than charging $7.50 to send the CD to Europe
  11. Nope - just had a listen and the Duck is bloody good. SO the only mistake i can see is not putting both sides of the Hutch 45 on...
  12. Nope - i have been looking for ages and the only mistake i can find is putting on the wrong side of the Willie Hutch... please explain!
  13. No Phil, you go on the 23rd; please!
  14. too much Chris, as i would like one lol. higher hundreds maybe £6to£700?
  15. Ditto... there was a thread about this a year or so ago - as Keith it is very, very (and i'll add another) very hard indeed - i been looking for another for years... and have i bored everyone yet with telling them the Escotts are the Acsots who did 'few feet from the gutter'...
  16. p.p.s I'm not saying i believe in Guy Hennigan as some sort of idol - or that i have mentioned him before and am now doing again. what i mean is that i think it was him that covered it under that name because i heard it last year as that then went and bought the thing. just wanted to clear my beliefs up.
  17. p.s. Guy Hennigan...(i beleive again)
  18. absolutely brilliant - the best £1. i spent last year - or many a year come to that (and i have played it out...) i believe it was covered up "Flights of Fantasy" i think...
