  16. no dave , the point im trying to make is everyone assumed his copy was the 7th avenue aviators cos there was a rook of em for sale in the record bar , and as you say its the same recording, i recall on the train going home asking my mates who sings that one which goes.............you should ave held the knot a little tighter !!!!! ha ha. 17 years old and your life revolved around waiting for the next weekend to arrive,ave a good day mate
  17. funny how things stick in the mind , just reminiscing a saturday night when richard had been playing frankie karl for agood while , and there were numerous copies in the bar by the seventh avenue aviators at a £10 a go , and mr searling catagorically stating it wasnt the same record over the mic , still struggle to hear the difference even now , great times eh!
