  1. Floyd when your looking type in Sammy Campbell your missing the 'P' Kirsty
  2. Well if you want a real up tempo dance track try Otis Leavill - I Still Love You (Dakar 4511) 1972 you won't find a more up tempo track..... Kirsty
  3. Righteous Brothers Bobby Womack Ray Lewis Tony Allen & the Originals Vibrations Chris Clark Judy Green Joe Simon Brenda Holloway Prophets

  5. Can anybody tell me the artist - title if it's correct and release info on this track please (Record Label or CD)? What's On Your Mind.mp3 Kirsty
  6. Think Luis is talking about the second to last track on this!!! Kirsty
  7. Brilliant Cheapie "Casinos - I Still Love You" Bought it the same time that I purchased an LP track by the Younghearts on a Street Soul 45 "You're Not Here With Me" a while back about £15 for the pair. I do prefer the the Pain side from the Nova's Nine...The Oscar Tolbert track is a great modern soul Gem. The Wynn Cameron track is a great ballad but I've just been listening to another unissued Wynn track that he has just put on Youtube well worth a listen..... Another Good set Mal Thanks Kirsty
  8. Skyliners Brilliant First time listen who said rare can’t be good? Jimmy Ricks always sends me to the lizard lounge in a nice way, As you probably know Tambi Garret did ‘Leave A Little Love’ on Ascot same year as Patti ’66 a year later than Lulu. It’s Billy Over Jerry for me it’s a bit like Darrell versus Sonny’s versions of ‘open the door to your heart’ Gail Nevels – Great Double sider!!! Cheaters on Jolo another rare track but a bit repetative for me…. Always loved the West Coast Distributers and the use of the metronome forming the base of the track. Thought you played a few early doors tracks towards the end IMHO but overall a great set Mal Cheers Kirsty
  9. Really nice mix Mal, my first time hearing "San Diego Marauders - Baby Can't You Feel It" took me a couple of listens but it did grow on me....... Kirsty
  10. Can Anyone help me identify the Artist & Title Unknown 1.mp3 Kirsty
  11. Thank you sir just purchased (Ordered) Where I'm Coming From LP 1973 and put it on the LP Only Northern Tracks thread... Kirsty
  12. Just says released in 75 second issue https://www.45cat.com/record/r813 Kirsty
  13. Hi Mick wasn't Little Ann released by Kent on 45 in 2006? Kirsty
  14. Worth a look... If it's already on here feel free to take it down or move it... Kirsty
  15. How about this been released a couple of times by different artists but for me this is a phenomenal dancer right up my street.... Vessie Simmons - Shiftless, Shady (Simco 1002) 1973 Kirsty
  16. You got caught out just like me not LP only anymore, https://www.discogs.com/The-3-Pieces-I-Need-You-Girl-If-Only-I-Could-Prove-To-You/release/2094477 Kirsty
  17. Can I say snap to that Ian, after looking up "Billy Young - Burning Up" (Below) for this thread I came across a disco version I had never heard. Mind you I posted on another thread, LP only Northern Tracks "Real and Realy For Real - Tribe" and Mr Benson pointed out to me that it had been released on 45, so you learn something new everyday too. Kirsty
  18. Loved this since it's release maybe a tad outside the time scale Ed Impressions - Rhythm (Daptone 1071) 2013
  19. Well Ed not a Northern Sound but the sound that reflected my Dogtooth dresses and one record that no matter what happened in my life has always stayed with me (First Love) I could never be parted from this my most treasured possession (been played too many times usually when i'm feeling low) only good condition with no skips the crackles play loud and proud. Possessed this 40 years before the Barcardi ad.... Jack Wood - Born To Wander (Lawrence 2052) 1966 Kirsty
  20. Here's an unissued track below mostly acetates but some come from reel to reel and digitalized for commercial use https://www.ebay.com/itm/224343633513 Thousands out there Kirsty
  21. Never heard it, is it the same guys who recorded on Polydor? Are both sides good or just one track? Kirsty
  22. Someone has the Shipp version at '67 I tend to agree the Chino Feather version on Chex '63 & on Gateway '66 the Straker's version much later mid 70's for the Christmas Market... I can see that the Cashbox shows it at '71 but that doesn't mean it was cut then... Kirsty
  23. The problem with the top side of the Straker's Version is it has a Christmas Intro, The Shipp version is an all round year record (Nice Cheapy) Kirsty
  24. Clifford Binns - You've Got To Help Me (Carrie 014) The slower green Re-issue version, Just up +2 and it's almost like the 6501 version that sells completely out my price range. Beggars can't be choosers. Forgot to say waiting for it to arrive £19.49 with P&P pushed the boat out with my Christmas Money... Will have to "rein it in" to Only spending £15 max for the rest of the year (Promise) Kirsty
  25. Anyone on any info on this please? Cheers Kirsty
