  1. Funny as f*%k mate, I also remember the sensible soul allnighter at the warehouse where the floor was so slippery from condensation and talc that people were falling over all night ( it was like the grand national ) Remember Adey finding a tiny piece of non slippery floor which I tried to share with him Just enough room for two ( two not so little boys !) Still got my Sensible soul card, Cass club anyone?, Le Beat route (50p drinks before 10pm) Jon Pierres ( thursday night until 3am !) General Pickton, Scala allnighters, upstairs at the Astoria,

  7. Sad story, I saw him at the Norfolk Village pub and the do in West Kensington that you mentioned and bought a copy of the cd as I felt sorry for him. It was in awful condition but he was fantastic live. I remember seeing him sing 'Hypnotized' from his lp doing both the female and male part (my mate Gary Thomas told me it was a duet) and it was stunning.
  8. Tony do you remember when we used to to the Carved red lion and I played Spencers uptempo version of 'Love attack ' from the jap lp to a bemused 'one man and his dog'
  9. Not only did I hear that one but they played Loleatta Holloways version of Syl Johnsons 'We did it' straight after the Man utd game tonight. Not even a particularly well known record I wouldn't have thought, from the first Aware lp
  10. Well done you two, love Barbara Hall an old Randy Cozens spin plus you played so many other great tunes.
