    I have this modern soul disco dancer on Hi with the 'dance, dance,dance flip side for trades. Looking for interesting deep soul, crossover. It's just gone for £96 on ebay as a guide.     Thanks Gareth, Frankie Gearing, Tommy Tate and Chuck Armstrong if I remember rightly. Dave Molloy made me a fantastic tape at Stafford. It had the Linda Jones Neptune singles, Dee Dee Warwick- foolish Fool, Harold Melvin- Be for real, and plenty of other gems.

    Really enjoyable reading mate. I was a regular at all of those London gigs at the time, and when you look back at the quality of what was being played it's stands up really well. Graeme Ellis coming down and playing Carl Hall and Bobby Dukes just blew us away. The early Fleetwood weekenders were to my mind some of the best times I've ever had. A great mix of knowledgeable punters, people having fun, being daft (and that's just Ivor Jones). Hearing 'Flowers- for real' for the first time and Richard Searling playing charen Cotton to a dancefloor of about 1000 people, great days.
