  1. Majestic soul isn't far off that, it's certainly small enough
  2. It was musically a great night which Gareth and his brother Anthony as well as David Nossiter and myself (toward the end) used to run a few years back. The main problem was there was a very poor turnout. It's a shame really as I think people are starting to appreciate the slower stuff now (age maybe, or the legs can't dance to the faster stuff as well as they used to) Here are some playlists
  3. Hi Tony, I've to dig out the photos of you doing the Question and answer session flanked by Spencer, Percy, J Blackfoot & Oscar Toney Jr in Porretta. Priceless mate, really looking forward to the new releases

His name was Curno and is living in Germany and is on Facebook. I'm pretty sure the suspension had gone in that Citroen as well. Who was in the back? Gary Pluck?
  10. Mine too Mike, wonderful track
  11. I saw him live at Porretta in Italy last year and he was still in fine form. I wonder if someone would think of bringing him over
  12. I missed the Steves show but thanks to Zane listened to it later on. I'm biased as I have always been a big fan of southern soul but do agree with Steve and all the people on here, top drawer soul. Can't wait for Mr Rounce to come down to Majestic soul on thursday and here it out loud
  13. Sounds great Steve, any Fame recording works for me. Look forward to hearing it
  14. I remember you playing Johnny gilliam covered up at Stafford Dave.
