It was musically a great night which Gareth and his brother Anthony as well as David Nossiter and myself (toward the end) used to run a few years back. The main problem was there was a very poor turnout.
It's a shame really as I think people are starting to appreciate the slower stuff now (age maybe, or the legs can't dance to the faster stuff as well as they used to)
Here are some playlists

His name was Curno and is living in Germany and is on Facebook. I'm pretty sure the suspension had gone in that Citroen as well. Who was in the back? Gary Pluck?
I missed the Steves show but thanks to Zane listened to it later on. I'm biased as I have always been a big fan of southern soul but do agree with Steve and all the people on here, top drawer soul. Can't wait for Mr Rounce to come down to Majestic soul on thursday and here it out loud
Was it 'Get involved' mate?

Hi Dave,
I've been blocked from viewing it Is it the Willie Johnson? I've justposted up the clip of Frankie Gearing in Japan. Do you think a copy of the gig exists? I believe OV Wright headlined around 1980.
all the best
