Our lass is well into otters ,took her to the Isle of Mull on the ferry from Oban,we stayed in Tobermory and drove around to the coast at the bottom of Ben More just stopped to have our lunch and admire the scenery.Low and behold an otter was about 20 yards away from us in the sea,it was diving around and came up with a massive crab which it tussled with for about half an hour but got fed up and only got a leg off it. It went to sleep on the kelp on rocks just in front of us after catching several small fish,we got to about 6 yards from it, we watched it for about 2 hours.Some fab pure white beaches on the west side too. On the way home we saw three otters in the harbour area whilst waiting for the ferry. It is a fabulous place well worth a visit,first time in scotland and was overawed by the scenery,drove about an hour along Loch Lomond on the way to Oban. Never forget it as long as i live.

I'm fine Mark and Juno have the right idea, I just think when the postage is three times the price of the record it makes sense to buy a couple at least. I usually pass on the spare to someone at cost price or there abouts anyway. When buying from someone in America nowadays i will always look at what else they have and add a couple but they are usually for me.

Does that also go for a record you may have bought for a tenner back in the day and is now worth a small fortune . I thnk not !

The single was $6.99 and only available from America (Daptone) with £16 postage was only sensible to add other copies to make postage more acceptable. So that is probably why people have spares.

The original has a runout area of exactly 12mm wide and has M-1291-B M1291f -62469-B 08B scratched in the runout, the actual groove lasts 1 and a quarter turns. but that is just my copy and cant tell where pressed

My first actual record list woul;d have been F L Moore Leighton Buzzard but don't have it any longer I do have a collection of paper lists from later on though ie. Black Knight Records great lists these from Gary Anglo American bought loads of great records from Tim including excellent soul packs Crazy Beat also some great records The problem was getting through on the phone had many a frustrating wait redialing frantically.

I was woken up this morning at 0500 hrs by 5 live playing Al Capone ,One Step Beyond and Carolina by the Folks Brothers and the very sad news that Prince Buster had passed away at the age of 78. Now i defy anyone to stay still if they hear the infectious blue beat ska rhythms,it was the sound of my youth along with Soul Music of course,it brought the memories just flooding back and took me straight to 1966 and sounds like Guns of Navarone ,Pheonix City,Train to Skaville. Train tour to Rainbow City and Rudy A message to you(1967 i think). One of the first Black Atlantic singles i bought was Jamaican Ska ,Such memories and a privilege to have grown up in this period and Prince Buster was an icon of my time. Rest in Peace and thank you

Yes but probably not enough,mostly put on MP3 player for relaxing on beach and listening to.

I find it a bit dissapointing but great for the motown buffs David Ruffin probably my favourite
