I have a 7 (somewhere) so it certainly exists ,but unfortunately during the record it skips (not sure if it`s just my copy or a pressing fault). I don`t have any plans to sell it at present though. Mark H.

Records now pretty much sorted out for tomorrow`s show. All i need to do now is to plan how to navigate my way through the weekend`s "engineering works" which dominate the transport landscape at weekends here in london !!

I`m going to be ably assisted in the studio on sunday by "Mental Soul`s" Mole and Nelly. They will there to help with technical matters like "where`s the ON switch", "now what does this button do...Oops !!" and most important of all " one sugar, not too much milk !!" I have to say that "I Gave You Love With An A Plus" is right up my street . For those people that love their old style steppers like Goodie "You and I " , Natures Divine " I Just Can`t Control Myself" ,Chuck Jackson "Through All Times" then this will be an absolutely essential purchase. The London based "Pirate" radio stations of the 80`s and 90`s would have embraced it with open arms as well. I`ll be giving it a spin this sunday morning on the Soul People show on Solar Radio between 10 and midday if anybody wants to hear it Mark Houghton

I`m in full agreement Wayne. I love BOTH versions of "I can`t wait" , and to add to your comments i think that the remix of "Kick Back" is the "Sleeping Giant" of the LP and continues to grow on me . Mark H

Great news, and as Ady said, 2011 is already looking like a great year for Soul fans with all these great unreleased and rare tracks being made available from several UK labels. Mark H

Just echoing what Dave had to say about the LP. Another top quality release from Soul Junction. An LP crammed full of quality soul with only the stunning and anthemic "I can`t wait" (which if you don`t have it is essential 70`s soul) seeing release before in it`s current format (and on the Lp there is also an alternative cut of that track which totally reinvents the song). I think the main problem with the red series is that not only was it a limited market but the tracks were available beforehand. At my New Chapter gig in London i can remember King Ernest, Queen Isabella and Sheba Potts getting regular plays several months before they came out on Grapevine 2000 and many potential buyers had already gone out and bought the cd by the time the 12`s became available . Great releases though and credit to Steve for drawing attention to a top quality label. Mark H
