I can remember Alan Stevenson putting his copy of Jimmy Thomas-Beautiful Night on UK Parlophone on the dashboard of his car on the way home from Wakefield Mecca one night then putting the blowers on .By the time he got back to Leeds...ashtray time!!! also I once ripped open a cardboard mailer to impatiently and cracked a copy of Queen of Fools on Hickory !

anybody remember a lady called 'Gabby' from Bradford? Pretty sure she is one of the dancers on the stage. The one with the short dark Julie Driscoll haircut. Thought I may have spotted a very young Miss Bushby in there too, but maybe not..

Now correct me if I'm wrong and call me a dummy!!! But I was a skinhead, then suedehead prior to getting into 'all-nighters etc' in the late 60's and dont recall anybody wearing anything remotely similar to these! What part of the country was this guy from? Not trying to be arsey just cant remember these ..maybe they were from the early 70's tank-top era??
