  1. Behave Davie. It's only a film!
  2. Who's being negative? I'm pmsl
  3. Aren't they Del
  4. PMing you!
  5. Can't argue with you on that one. He seems to do more in Europe these days than he does in this country. Seems they have no problem recognising quality when they hear it!
  6. I know Ian, its a bugger when you have to walk past the dance floor to get to the business end
  7. I wouldn't say under booked Gareth. I have seen Andy D DJ regurlarly, almost weekly at times. Just because you don't see him DJ regularly, doesn't mean he isn't.
  8. Good point this Steve. Sad thing is, for a lot of people it isn't about the record, it's about who's playing it. A DJ such as yourself could be playing a record for years without people taking much notice, but as soon as someone like Butch starts playing it... WHOO HOO! WTF's that all about?
  9. I'd say it's most definitely a male ego thing. Record collecting is run on testosterone! Thank God for girls that's what I say, otherwise the dancefloor would be all but empty!
  10. I certainly wouldn't call Andy Dyson underrated either. I would say he is very highly rated. As is Kitch.
  11. Awh, Dave... you clot! Didn't John Weston's wife stand on his copy of Royal Robins?
  12. Was also released on Mainstream (but you already knew that). Don't blame you wanting the Jude release, it's recorded so much louder than the Mainstream for some reason. Great tune!
  13. Yes have heard it Matt - but once again I'm sorry to say - it just doesn't do for me what the Parliaments did. I guess that's the thing, personal taste. What some may consider essential listening others may not. Why on earth would anyone have a problem with someone else having records that they will never be able to own? Jeez, do you really know people like that?
  14. Awh... didn't he get his expenses?
  15. A new thread ... UNDERRATED & UP & COMING PUNTERS
  16. That's one of the side effects you get from funk Baz. I thought everyone knew that!
  17. Actually Baz, I was pleasantly surprised to hear all the DJ's at the last Lifeline playing cheaper tunes in their sets along side the rare top money tunes.
  18. Parliaments - AWESOME Gerri Taylor - not my taste I'm afraid. Johnny Howard - where's that 'cut your wrist' smiley when you need it. What pisses me off is the fact that Butch could blow us all into the middle of next year if he wanted to - and yet he subjects us to Johnny fricking Howard.
  19. As Kev H has already said - a Rob Marriot spin first. As for "many of the favourites that are played at the "oldies" venues, were originally spun by him, years ago....." I would stick my neck out to say just as many top tunes came from Rob Marriot imo. Butch has broke some fantastic tunes over the years without a doubt. But is he still doing it? I haven't seen him DJ a lot recently so I really can't comment. But going on the times I have heard him recently, and I don't mean any disrespect when I say this, I'd say no he isn't. Would be interested to hear from people who do see him DJ regularly though.
  20. Aren't you lot supposed to have closed this thread at a 1,000 posts and started a new one?
  21. What you talking about lass! You always look amazing in photographs. Unlike me. I seem to turn into Quasimodo. Or is that my true look! Anyway, hope you are good hun? x
  22. Yep... Carl Willingham. Or at least he did have.
  23. What do YOU think of it Phil?
  24. Awh Ken... they are top photo's! Sweet sweet Lenny. And look at Chris Jones Great stuff
