No like I said... its not for every venue... but it suits us. Then again, we are only a soul night. As for pissing our guests off... I think a 9 - 10 spot might piss them off more.

Yeah we do half hour sets. Mainly because it gives everyone a chance at a decent time. We do resident, guest, resident, guest, with each resident and each of the two guests getting 2 x half hour sets each. Not for every venue - but it seems to suit our night

I'm with you Jayne. These days people log onto the internet, write a few posts and genuinely think they are part of the northern soul scene. Hello? To be 'part of the northern soul scene' you need to get out there and actually go to venues. Not just post a few words on the internet. You can love soul music by not going to venues, but you can't be part of the scene by sitting in your front room.

So how rare is this record then? Looking on Popsike it shows that two have been sold already this year, with four sold in total. It seems Roddy got one relatively quickly and cheaply. Marc has one. I know Mick H did have one. Would be interesting to know how many members on here have a copy. So come on guys... fess up?
