    And the licences. You can bet your life if anyone round here broke into a car and found credit cards and driving licences they'd think all their Christmas's had come at once. Makes you wonder if it wasn't just plain vandalism.

    Yes but random things happen Paul all the time. It was a Tuesday night. If it wasn't outside a soul event then surely the chance of it being a soulie would be a little remote no? Unless of course they had been stalking Mr & Mrs Roberts just in the hope that they would put their records in the car. I agree with Pete's suggestion though... getting in touch with the local paper would certainly increase local awareness of the situation, which can only be a good thing.

    Yes... thanks for that hun. Am definitely going to try to get down. I will never forget the time Steve and my husband Tony ended up double decking using Steve's sales box at Sandbach all nighter. Steve kept playing both decks at the same time and speaking in that funny voice of his... so funny. I'm with you Mark... still can't believe it.

    Heard about this on Friday. Spent a lot of time with Steve back in the day. Had some laughs I can tell you. Very sad.

    :lol: Good to see nothing much has changed in all the years since Gav! Was my first Scottish experience too... and loved every minute of it. Went on the mini bus from Derby I think, with Guy, Ion etc. Got back to Luton the following Tuesday too HAPPY DAYS INDEED
