  1. I wasn't being patronising mate. I was just saying that record is pants because I think it is pants. It may well fill the dance floor at venues you frequent but it would not fill the dance floor at venues I frequent. In fact, I have already posted that I cannot remember the last time I heard the record out because the venues I frequent do not play pants. Feel free to say I am being patronising if you wish. You are entitled to your opinion. As am I. And my opinion is Frank Wilson is pants.
  2. A full dance floor does not mean the record they are dancing to is a good one. Not by any stretch of the imagination. It's pants!
  3. Frank Wilson is absolute pants compared to some of the incredible tunes that came out of Motown
  4. I can't believe there are four people on here who think their opinions don't count!!
  5. Old enough to know better but still young enough to not give a toss
  6. Have to say I have never been a fan. Not a problem though cos I honestly can't remember the last time I heard this record. Must be going to all the right venues
  7. Now that would be great!
  8. Out of all the venues I have been to over the years, Shotts is the one I would love to experience all over again given the chance.
  9. You should have been around 20 years ago Liam! Honestly the Scottish soul scene back then was second to none Anyway, I can't disagree, all great DJ's - but hardly 'up and coming'. All fairly well established imo.
  10. Also spun by Kitch for a while too. Great tune. I love it
  11. Maybe for the same reason someone in their 20's does - they enjoy it
  12. Is that 3 x £6.80? Back on topic. The first time I ever heard Charles Thomas was on the John Peel show on Radio One. Great tune.
  13. Ha ha.... just thank God that happened before you decided to sell all your records Phil
  14. The Martineques has been played quite a bit John, and for a good amount of years too. Kitch's old Three Jades cover up if my memory serves me correctly. Could never get played enough for me though. Incredible tune.
  15. I have seen her live a couple of times, many years ago, and have to say was never overly impressed. Last night was very sad to see though for sure.
  16. This has been around for ages. I agree, it could get more plays though
  17. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
  18. I agree Pete is very fair when it comes to records. But if you want to get the very best price you can, and you have some big ticket tunes, maybe Manship would be your best bet to get as much money as you possiby can for your records. Really hope things work out for you.
  19. It should be these people who don't support places playing OVO and off the norm. Just wondering, what's wrong with them??????????
  20. I know, how great is this Paul. Don't you wish every artist could know just how much their music is appreciated by folk over here? GREAT STUFF
  21. Chosen Few and the Crown Four are the only two I know of Dave.
  22. Why did you feel like an outsider? Were you somewhere you didn't know anyone? Or at a club where you do know people? If it's the first one then maybe there's your answer. If it's the second maybe you want to f*** all those ignorant twats off and go somewhere where the people are more friendly
  23. Thanks hun but I have got the LP. Need the single but haven't got the funds. Not bought any new records for ages.
  24. Don Gardner was very reasonable imo. What a tune. Would love the 45 of this.
