  1. No more than £50 I would have thought. Maybe less?
  2. Tony Diamond does the best version of this for me.
  3. I'd say yes you should - but that would soooo soul source of me
  4. 'Ask The Lonely' for me. Unbelievable tune!
  5. That's a thousand times better!
  6. I admire your patience. No point in calling on the promoters to turn them away on here though. So who's going to Six Hills on Saturday?
  7. Why not post on the 6 Hill's thread asking someone to mention something to them? Something like "How about I take this £20 entrance fee and pay one of your debts off. Now home you go you two..."
  8. I've had a copy of this for 15 years or more. I did know of another copy a couple of years back but Paul Sadot got that one. Great tune for sure.
  9. A few people have posted a want up for this one. Don't think many have been successful though.
  10. Blimey!! I was sat open mouthed reading all that. Brilliant!
  11. Thanks for that Andy. Going to see if I can find your article, sounds like a good read.
  12. Hi Andy, Please excuse my ignorance. So you have the only original acetate that Steve and Rob found in Rose McCoy's basement, and Ady P and Roger have copies? I love this kind of stuff, I find it really interesting. Thanks. Oh, very cool picture. Did they get that from Rose at the same time as the record?
  13. Somehow rarity and exclusivity always makes a tune sound better than it is. If this tune was £20 and everyone could have a copy you would all think it was pants.
  14. Couldn't be that it's pants
  15. Another one I have never rated. Must be a girl thing eh?
  16. I suppose that is true to a certain extent. That said, your choice of tunes would not get a full dance floor at the venues I go to. But hey ho... there are plenty out there that would lap up your plays with gusto. Good luck to you!
  17. And it was overplayed years before Bob started playing it. Sick to death of hearing it. Awful record.
  18. Yes an easy one. Over to you Sir Kenneth
  19. Only joking! Who is this? Born 30th August 1929 in Bessemer, Alabama.
  20. Ok. What was the first record I ever bought?
  21. Jeez, I didn't realise that! Second note to self - don't try to be a clever clogs
  22. Oh dear. Note to self, don't try to be funny. You sure you don't mean Earl Cosby? If you do it's Ooh Honey Baby.
  23. What 'non soul' site did you see this on Gene?
  24. I'm with Stevie, I definitely won't be going to KGH, rare room or no rare room. Just pray there is no chance of your nightmare scenario coming true Phil
  25. Am I the only one who thinks this is an average record?
