  1. Without doubt one of the many highlights of those great weekends. It was mad in that radio room
  2. Off topic I know but I often think about when he appeared at Yarmouth weekender. He was amazing and loved every single second of being on stage. His radio interview was fab too... "You can call me H"
  3. What happened with that documentary or what ever it was they filmed at the weekender in Seattle a couple of years ago? Would love to see the interview they did with Steve Green . . . . . .
  4. What about a game for the Wii? It can be called Wiigan Casino
  5. Now that it has been sold... am I the only one who thinks this sounds like the Doobie Brothers
  6. I seem to remember this Chalky. Was it at the Cheshire Cat too? Or should that be the Strangled Cat
  7. It happens all the time Paul. People play records for years and no one notices... but as soon as Butch or someone plays it
  8. Looks like it has been brought forward a few years
  9. If anyone is capable of doing it properly then it should be Elaine. But only time will tell if that is the case. No disrespect meant Elaine
  10. It is Cilla all day long. Love Finds A Way Chuck
  11. What has this got to do with anything? There are hundreds of records I dislike that I haven't got. No one buys records they don't like do they? There are hundreds that I love that I haven't got either so I don't see your point. It is pants
  12. I hate this record. The perfect song for Cilla Black. Listen to it and tell me it does not sound like Cilla
  13. Good for business Pete. I bet they have never had so many hits on their site!
  14. Surely this is child abuse

I agree Butch has broken some fantastic tunes but it has to be Rob Marriot for me. Rob was so enthusiastic and approachable and his records weren't bad either So for me, Rob Marriot without doubt

It used to get played years ago. Have heard Roger Banks play it in recent years. I think it was Roger... It does come up on Ebay quite regularly but they always seem to be in bad nick.

    Shades of Blue?
  18. Hi Debbie. I was referring to the Preston bit. Not Nick. I know his name but not sure if I ever met him. I do remember DJing at a soul night at the Dancers studios in Preston. Fantastic venue it was too! Crap dancers though
  19. How could I forget chucking the chips We will be there Mick. Look forward to seeing you
  20. Music for me. Those who know me, know I like the odd dance or two but if the music is not there then I do not dance. And by that I mean I don't get the urge to dance to any music other than soul music. Yes the people are great and I love my friends dearly. Saying that, no matter how many great friends I have around me, a night will always lack a certain something if the music is pants. There is nothing better than going out, hearing great music, dancing like a nutter and having great friends around you. That's what soul is. Oh... and then there is the vinyl...
