  15. Details of an upcoming event being held on Sat 30th September 2023 at the Museum of Wigan Life. Northern Soul and Wigan Casino: its influence, its legacy, and everything that followed. Something a little different to the usual type of event, but it will be a great way to spend an afternoon. Plus there's a soul night a mile up the road in Pemberton if you fancy making a day / evening of it! Northern Soul and Wigan Casino: its influence, its legacy, and everything that followed. We will look at the incredible records that were discovered, the DJs that played them, and the memories that were made. When? Saturday 30th September, 3-4.30pm Where? 17. It's the only downside of having a dog, or any pet. You go into it with the understanding that when the time comes, you will suffer so they don't have to. I lost my Bettsy under similar circumstances. She was diagnosed with protein losing enteropathy, for which there is no cure. I tried everything I could to manage the condition, but in the end it took over. There came the day where she told me it was time, and I did what was best for her. I feel your pain Wilxy, and everyone, it's just the worst. Words are just that, but I can now sit here and think of the joy and smile. A bond with a pet is a unique and very special thing. Sending love x
  18. Happy birthday Martyn
  19. Hey Bob, nooooo nothing like that haha. Really looking forward to Saturday, will be so nice to see everyone and there will be plenty of stories told and memories shared no doubt x
  20. Really looking forward to a great day and night remembering our friend Karl. Had some fantastic nights with Karl and Paul when we ran the back room at Lowton. Couldn't have had more fun than when we all went to Seattle and I know that's how he would like to be remembered - fab tunes, vimto and lots of laughs, let's recreate that on Saturday
  21. Feels like everytime I post these days it's with sorrow. Each time I saw Tim we talked about the all dayers in Coventry, or 'mega' as he called them. So sad x
  22. Oh no, that's such sad news xxx
