Never been one for getting there right at the start. Getting there before it finished was an achievement at one stage in my life One thing that has always struck me as odd is when DJs say they 'ease' people into a set. Wtf? Start as you mean to go on that's what I say - all guns blazing!

I will miss it if it doesn't happen. Been good since Carl and Maria's room started, really enjoyed it.

I heard this version playing over the speakers in Staples once when I was walking round. It did make me chuckle, still does whenever I hear it.

You were lucky Julie, why couldn't I have missed them! Honestly, the thought of 50 plus year old men wearing shorts (and I don't mean shorts that cover the tops of your legs I'm talking those silky shorts that have the split nearly up to the waist) with a skimpy vest (or not, as loads just wore the shorts) really does make me wish I hadn't had my breakfast this morning

The beauty of soul music is the feeling it gives you. Unfortunately the way it makes you feel on the inside doesn't necessarily manifest itself with such beauty on the outside. But who cares? Not me! I love watching people dance and my favourites are not the 'technically' good dancers but the ones who love it from the inside. Like my good friend Steve rightly pointed out in an earlier post - the smile says it all and a smile looks good on everyone. I'll still keep away from those cameras though. Ignorance is bliss, especially at my age

That's the thing Julie, I suspect no one actually thinks they are making themselves look like a div. Hence why you should avoid cameras at all costs. I would hate to see what I really look like and as a result never go out again
