  1. Of course there are tunes that people don't know but that's not what I was replying to. It was your comment about travelling to venues to hear records you couldn't hear anywhere else. On the whole, those days are long gone ...
  2. Of course, but those days are long gone. The scene has been going a long time, there are a lot of knowledgeable people out there, there just aren't the amount of unknown records anymore and like it or not there are a lot of DJs with the same records (good records for sure, but the same none the less)
  3. I love it too. Chris Campbell - Got To Pay Dues - USA has the same / very similar backing. BJ is best though
  4. You told me this when he was over here at first the Stafford reunion. Like a girl I believed you and didn't stop to talk when he said hello cos I was looking for heffer
  5. Insistent? Me? Showing off / trying to impress more like Great days for sure and threads like this are just what you need at times to remind you

  9. Oh I don't know if it has or not Pete, at work so haven't had a chance to listen yet Some fantastic records in there for sure, really looking forward to it
  10. Some great stuff on there. Is it available to listen to with you talking Pete?
  11. Hence the 'laid back' I love it, makes me laugh, proper!

  17. Tony said that but I said he was wrong Sure Pete was there but I could be mistaken, it has been known I do remember Mark thinking he had 'lost' his Sonny Herman only to find out upon his return home that he had put two records in one sleeve
  18. Cue Mark running round tidying up before Jacqui gets in
  19. Can I ask where is this night is going to be?
  20. Definitely before 1993. Mark Wilson DJ'd at an alldayer round these parts and he played it. I know it was pre 1993 because Pete Lawson was there
  21. Looking very grown up there Kev
