  1. And this one .... i know i need to get a new copy ... but you'll get the drift
  2. Easy peasy to get .... Tim Brown's got one..... £40 a little more than my friends quoted ... but worth every penny imo ..... GREAT RECORD i got mine off ebay a couple of years ago ... and paid around £15-20 for it then ... and was very happy to do so .. just great!
  3. I must be doing something wrong as well ... cos all i get is Auction Closed ... starting price £1 .... but no finishing price ...
  4. Isn't Motown just great ... think it's about time this one started getting the recognition it deserves ... A cracking piece of Detroit soul first .... Motown second ... Very similar to the Gambrells "You Better Move" ...... just as good ... maybe even better ... imo of course
  5. As far as Motown tunes go .... they don't get much better than this .... How ANYONE can sit still to this is beyond me .... it's just great!
  6. Have gave this a spin many a time ... absolute corker of a record Give the other side a spin too .... "Feel like i'm falling in love again" ... just great! ........ and all for around a tenner too .... FANTASTIC!
  7. I didn't know Shaun ran a niter there either Chalky ... thought Guy was the first to run one there! Got to say it was fantastic there ... Guy's do's that is ... although not very well attended toward the end. Can still see Rob Marriot DJing there and playing the Seashell's - Quiet Home ... the first time i had ever heard it ... me and Ady Harley sprinting to the decks to see what it was ... TOP DAYS INDEED! Not to say i didn't enjoy it there after Guy stopped running it .... because i did .... well sort of. Had a good laugh ... but music wise ... nowhere near in the same league
  8. While we're on the topic of MIOB ..... i think this one by Ozz & Sperlings is great ... play it as loud as you dare .... the louder it is the better it sounds ..... honest ... your neighbours will tell you
  9. Don't know about it being overlooked as i've certainly heard it played out regularly over the last 5 years at least ..... Fantastic record though and no mistake ... ...... will post "Keep it to Myself" too .... as soon as i get it back from Ts sister's ... if nobody's done it by then
  10. Agree Mark ... great record .... wonder who's tape it was where Bob heard it first Anyway ... here it is ...
  11. Mine does too .... so a big thumbs up for our postie Joe from me
  12. Make a girl feel old why don't you ..... but i agree .... would be good to hear it again
  13. It was a massive tune at Stafford ... not heard it out for ages though ... brings back some good memories
  14. Yes please ... anyone? Love this side ... think it's fantastic!! Not heard it since Shotts ... Colin Law had it then ... sold it to Tim Brown i think.
  15. New Sounds ... another track on the album that's the mutts nuts ... Don't Take Your Love From Me ... just love it! Right ... that's it ... stop side tracking me you lot .... i got an essay to write ....
  16. Too right ... absolutely brill .... another one that reminds me of Adey Harley ... the lad had some taste! Got to try and make this my last one ... got an essay to hand in tomorrow ... not started it yet!!

  20. I seem to be in that kind of mood today .... played this earlier ... had forgotten just how good it is ... not had it off since ... Definitely going to start spinning this again .... Tip Top ....
  21. Been playing the Profiles for ages ... top tune. Soulnotes also .... released twice with two different b sides .... buy the one with 'Don't Make Me Beg' as the b side .... by far the best side imo...
  22. Just tuned in ..... was thinking i wonder if Rich will play Milton Parker .... and blow me down with anything have handy ... the boy goes and plays it ... Sounding dead professional there fella's .... it is you in there ... isn't it ..?
  23. I first heard this on a tape Adam did for me around 1985 ..... completely forgot about it until i saw it on Ebay recently .... Always loved it .... don't think i've heard it out since i got the tape! Great record
  24. Although not my favourite ... this is definitely the record i most identify with Stafford more than any other ... SUSAN REWIS - THEY SAY YOU'VE FOUND A NEW BABY - COLUMBIA Of course c/up as Demita James & the Wild Side - All the hurt & You ..... can still hear Guy introducing it now ... great stuff
