Haven't had the records... but have scans of them both... think you're more than a bit right about the Gordy thing.

Couldn't have put it better myself... Some records are just too soulful for their own good... & here is a prime example of that fact..

There are 11 releases listed in mine... but it also lists Sport 102 as being Joan Duvalle.. which is correct... but Gordon Berry - How Lonely was also issued on Sport 102... that it doesn't list. Which just shows you.. you can't believe everything you read

WOW! What a lovely picture. You know.. it breaks my heart when i think of how many artists there must be over there who totally believe that all their hard work and dreams came to nothing. I just wish that every single artist who ever made a soul record knew that 40 years on there's a bunch of raving lunatics over here getting so much enjoyment from their records... and for them to know that it definitely wasn't for nothing.
