    the International soul club..ISC had a massive list of titles but many never surfaced..i'd like to know which are the rarest?..'chained & bound' seems scarce..

    hmm..i always thought the stars design came first..but can remember both designs being for sale at the same time (if that makes sense)..i also remember the white ootp's being 4 for £1 (pre packed) on sale at the Queens hall allnighter in Apr '74..maybe the presser got a bit windy and tried to get rid quick..

    yes i had it on the blue stars label..but when i bought it i'm sure the Torch has already closed..i can remember it as being a biggie between Torch and Casino..and it often appears in the clubs ads of that period..if it was played at the Torch surely mustve been at the end?..btw the full list of ootp pressings (not all pressed) appeared in April '74..inc Lynne Randell...

    the Kid ..was a well known soul/disco oldie..think i first heard it at a local disco or funfair around 1970...

    i had rcvd Chris Cerf in a soul pack from Soul Bowl which i covered as Shane Martin and played locally in Skegness..unknown to either ,around the same Sam was playing it as Len Barry..

    i assume some of the ootp pressing are rare..i doubt those all listed were actually pressed..but some must be scarce..

    well i never..yep i can see why ..and i suppose of its jazzy similarity (in parts) to manifesto..i have a wigan tape where JV plays it..prob late '74

    yep..intially played c/u as James Lewis (off the back of the smash 'Manifesto'..i guess to help it along)..it did take a while to go big..

    the girl bottom right is Karen (Lister?) from Rotherham..girl with yellow top could be Sue wright from Sheffield, and girl in middle is familiar (Sheffield) but cant name her..

    ..no surprise..'My hearts symphony' was massive for about a month..i remember it played at wigan and the dancefloor got mobbed..it was of its time like many more..

    hmm. off thread but..i can remember a story about Russ in the US ( accompanying the winners of raffle or dance comp late 70's) buying copies of the yum yums?..
