    As a promoter I often get messages.questions and comments about an upcoming event...I thought I'd share this one When you go to the Masonic Hall and hear those fantastic sounds, it's a bit like scoring the winning goal at the F. A. Cup final, but better than that when you get on that dance floor. See you Friday !! Says it all

    heres a sound that may be played on Friday...we dont dictate playlists..its YOUR night out beware of pre planned playlists lol I was once told by a old school respected DJ that he considers this to be the ultimate Detroit Northern Soul 'floorshaker' For him it wasn't open for debate....I'll take that !! Btw if you're coming and wanna hear it out loud remind one of those blokes playing records

    Bit of an institution that...we used to go 'services' when there was no nighter on coz...well it was only place open all night !!!!.... we weren't the only ones who had same idea lol

    Positive vibes from the 'other socials'.....expect some delightful dancefloor delights.....all the dj's know the score..infact 2 of em invented it for the Masonic lol !! Not much inward looking from this crew....that can so often blight other events...outward focus all the way.......................its YOUR night out....and we dont forget that !!!

    Under a week to go....and just a reminder that 'Here comes the Judge' !! THAT dancefloor !!! A continuation of the super successful mindset adopted over 6yrs of the Macc Soul Club before us. Its an easy measure of success...adopting a KISS principle Keep it simple stupid !!!! Not for us playing records trying to impress the old men in the dark corners , stroking their chins and and debating ad infinitum the merits of each record !!! We endeavour to put on a night out...not create a discussion group !!! The best feedback for anyone is immediate and under your feet....easy innit !!! Keep it simple stupid...and remember who the judge is

    Just a WEEK to go Doors open at 7pm Only a FIVER on the door SUPERB WOODEN DANCEFLOOR! LARGE FREE CAR PARK, Plenty of Nearby Hotels, Train Station around 500 metres away. Northern Soul... aimed at the dancefloor !! Macclesfield Masonic Hall is RISING again !Countdown is definittely on !!! Friday Soul nights out...just got better !!!

    From our first opening night we had a really positive and responsive crowd that added to the enjoyment of the evening...judging by the buzz around social media ..its looking 'set to fly' again !!!

    Still JUST £5 to pay on the door .just like we used to do No HIDDEN costs...even onsite car parking is FREE ! NO booking fees ..NO posting costs..NO online Booking agents Lets keep it simple !!!

LARGE FREE CAR PARK, Plenty of Nearby Hotels (inc Travel lodge direct opposite train station), The train station a mere 10/15 mins walk away Spacious building with ample 'break out 'spaces to catch up with friends old and new Macclesfield Masonic is rising again...and reigniting those 'dancefloor moments' !!!!
