Get here late afternoon and sample the many pubs and fast food outlets Biddulph has to offer all within a couple of mins stroll from the venue ready for a 6pm start !! Try out the massive Wetherspoons beforehand--- complete with beer garden at the rear with views over to Mow Cop Last event here was a corker....!! Entry cost frozen at 2024 prices !!!

View from the bridge' ...after a rousing January event ..planning is reaching its final stages to ensure March event 'hits the spot' Staff and management are really looking forward to it !! First time visit for Paul and myself here...well worth it...friendly crowd , enjoying a great mix of sounds and were not afraid to get on that dancefloor for a 'boogie'....A quality night out !!! A 5 star rating from us for sure !!

Gotta say..what a fabulous night that was.... A real 'up for it' crowd created an awesome atmosphere in that building last night....A massive thanks and well done !!. I dont think we could have squeezed any more in !!! As Paul as mentioned it was great to see friends old and new ALL enjoying themselves.. Thanks to the lads for playing some good ole fashioned soul music to keep the floor busy all night...none less than Ashley Fellows who came in...quickly surveyed the 'goings on' (ooh matron !!) and proceeded to take the place by storm ..with a fantastic set of tunes !!...but we knew he would !! ..top stuff mate !! Its always a pleasure to have a 'Big Soul Night Out' in that venue... we'll have to do it again sometime Oh and we mustn't forget ..it was a charity event..and am sure the sheer numbers through the door ensured a healthy fundraing total !! So thanks again for attending and we REALLY do hope you enjoyed yourselves Judging by ACTUAL feedback on the night,,,(immediate feeback lessens the 'rose tinted specs. approach where what actually happened can become blurred over time),,,,I can give this a 5 stars x -
AS you all know we have a simple mantra here at Silktown ..we dont believe in overcomplicating matters to score points or 'be different' Its a formula we believe in....and will pursue relentlessly Provide good music aimed at the dancefloor...end of !!! and enjoy what you're doing. Last night we had over 100 pass through the doors during the night.....travellers from far and wide...even from the States..all enjoying the simple ambiance that good music aimed at the dancefloor provides I'll stop there....its not war and peace..but safe to say it was a real pleasure to be in your company last night..each and everyone of you...really enjoyed my Friday night out with you all ...thanks ever so much for making the effort to attend Next one is March..details to follow...but rest assured...we keeping it simple..its your night out...not OUR idea of what YOUR night out should be a final note..Travelling home....Geese and me both agreed BEST soul night out for ages...and he goes everywhere so I trust his judgement !!

JUst over a week to go....guest DJ's all set....Jordan had a 'pre amble' down at Bristol and rammed the floor...good to see. Ethan is guesting at one of THE premier nighters in tthe country at the end of Jan ,,so expect some 'magic' from him also Two DJ's who read the room...heads not stuck in a record box ..focus right at the floor...after all they'll be on it in between
