  1. No, it's not that one Sean, that's a slowie.
  2. How on earth do you arrive at a conclusion like that? Did you stop buying records or something, so therefore soul music must have stopped being made?!??!?
  3. Matt's posted the clip on EMS, Mark, so the boffins on there will no doubt be on the case later. I'm certain I have this on an album somewhere but the vocalist is evading me at the moment, I though of someone like Jesse Graham or J. Blackfoot or Mel Waiters (as already suggested). Sounds like it's a mid/late 90s CD album track. I'd have thought this would be something that the likes of Sean Hampsey would recognise instantly? Roger

  9. I got the twelve sampler at the time, bought it from Mike Stephens I think, can't remember how much I paid for it, maybe a tenner. Don't think the album ever materialised, I've certainly never seen or heard any other tracks than were on the sampler. The twelve's pretty scarce I would have thought, though how in demand it is I wouldn't know. Roger
  10. I can't read anything you write, Ian, without expecting you to say . . . "Needless to say, I had the last laugh . . ."
  11. Not interested in yours and his bedroom antics, thankyou very much.
  12. Feck off, I'm not quite as old as your whipping boy just yet!!
  13. A lot of interest recently after being played on the radio by the likes of Richard Searling, Shaun Robbins, Paul Collins etc. Monster 70s dancer in the style of John Valenti 'Why Don't We Fall In Love'. Available very soon.

  19. I thought Bully was going to pass out with excitement when I sold him one for a tenner a few years ago at Fleetwood!
  20. Quality! Though get it factually correct please, the flat would be in WEST London, don't you know nowt about IL? The updated version of 'On A Crowded Street' is bloody good though, as are a few of the other tracks imho.
  21. Prestwich is, and always has been, the 100% perfect example of how a northern and modern event should be structured imho. Also, never book a DJ for a modern room who won't play CDs, or better still, do away with the record decks in the modern rooms just in the same way as there's no CD players in many northern rooms, that way you'd keep the vinyl-head DJs in the oldies arena where they belong.
