  1. I used to hammer this from Ola at the Winsford all nighters back in the 90s, still sounds superb I think, can't find a video but this is a link to hear it. https://olaonabule.bandcamp.com/track/dont-live-in-anger Cheers Roger
  2. It's fine, I don't do the 'flood' thing, that's enough for now.
  3. From the back end of last year, this proper flies along from one minute in
  4. The funniest part of this is people who play rare soul thinking they're 'cool' and even funnier, actually saying it.
  5. Yes, it's only on the fees and not the sale price.
  6. One of the most amusing things I saw with all this kind of thing recently is looking at a tracklisting for the soundtrack of the recent Northern Soul movie, not sure if it was official, but after every track title it said . . . . (7" mix)!! Amused me anyway!! Roger
  7. He was my shadow a couple of times at the Birmingham LSW, wrote down every brand new release I played. I'd love to know and see what he's actually got, serious next level stuff!! Roger
  8. No idea mate, it's simply a Barry White / Unlimited Gold pastiche which I think personally works very well. I had fun doing the label though, I have to say, I love stuff like that.
  9. Could go big as well (as they say) plus it's on 7 inch vinyl, quality remix.
  10. This will always be Yolanda Adams' finest moment for me personally.
  11. This would be my 'modden' tip right now. Lovely smashing super great as that bloke who lives in that old Carnforth disused railway station might say. Roger
  12. Couldn't agree more on those choices, Steve, especially Shirma Rouse, as you say, superb. Cheers Roger
  13. I was in Starbucks on the Deeside Industrial Estate yesterday and Michael Wycoff 'Looking Up To You' was playing so I asked the girl serving me if they chose the music or was it piped in and she replied 'Oh god no we don't choose it it's piped in, this is awful but we can't change it' LOL
  14. Didn't realise he was only 35, not having ever met or seen him, I had him down as being at least in his 60s!
  15. Saw this just now: https://voices.suntimes.com/arts-entertainment/the-daily-sizzle/death-of-soul-music-collector-preservationist-devastating-to-chicago-cultural-history/
  16. That is really sad news, he was one Soul Source member whose posts I always enjoyed. Rest in soul heaven Boba
  17. Willie Hutch at Fleetwood and Chapter 8 at Blackpool Hilton, never ever thought I'd get to see those legends. Roger
