Heaven forbid anyone should simply buy and play their music in the format of their own choice without being more concerned about what everyone else is or isn't doing, eh Mike? Probably too simple a concept to grasp.

Wow, do people seriously still have this type of discussion? I think I'm going to look in our shed for that piece of chewing gum I spat out 15 years ago and see if it still tastes any good.

I'm getting feck'n sick of this lot. Another two packages arrived from America today, both well packaged, LPs all in great nick and quite cheap. This is no good, I'm knocking ebay on the head, I can't be doing with this buying music that I want and receiving it without any problems, I need some drama in my life that I can moan about on the internet.

I bought two LPs from ebay a couple of days ago and they turned up today, both in excellent nick, well packaged and reasonably priced. Do you think I should I report it?

Definitely the downside of it, Barry. You could always blag a box-bitch into carting them around for you though as some of the 'big names' do, so you can conserve your energy for taking them out of the sleeves, lifting the stylus and pressing play.

I've always wondered why more people don't think that way Chalky, to me it's common sense. I understand that folks like the 45 as an collectable object, but in terms of the music, to me it's never made sense to fork out a three figure or upwards sum for one track when you can get that same song as part of an LP for a fraction of the cost, leaving you more money to spend on more music, plus the added bonus of the extra tracks, it's why I've collected LPs rather than 45s my whole life.
