a few years ago at skegvegas we took a close friend who wasnt (at that time) into NS.. anyway he asked me about a certain instrumental and I mischeviously told him it was called tinned tomatoes and the artist was called cirio he promptly jumped on the stage and asked Ian Gee to play said record , the look on Ians face and my mates expression had us in stitches for the rest of the w/end

very profound and have to agree methinks maybe the modern soul scene is for those who have a low boredem threshold and are no longer in tune with the northern scene and lost interest.. and want to create a contemporary scene of their own with their own music.. and to justify this they denounce us as stick in the mud dinosaurs -
