Okay.. I'll be at Maxim's this weekend with a large sales box - then will start posting them on here, in small lots, from (probably) Sunday. Items will only be held for as long as it should take for payment to readh me by 1st Class post (Max 2 days) then will be offered to any other interested parties. Payment will be expected by return - via Cash/Cheque/Bankers Draft (subject to 'phone confirmation with the drawing bank)/Money Order/Postal Order - and various postal options, plus costs, will be advised on an individual basis. Thanks Mark - and everyone else, for their kind wishes.. It's not a case of having to sell my entire collection, but having to make EVERYTHING available for purchase until I have enough to reverse my current situation - which is saving my home. In an ideal world I'd only have to sell a mere handful of discs but, realistically, I know I'm going to have to unload more than that to achieve the amount required as there are only a few people that could afford some of the pieces outright - and who's to say they don't already have (or don't want, even) my bigger four figure 45's.. I can't even cross me fingers for myself, though..

Circumstances, unfortunately, dictate that I have to raise a 'substantial' amount of money, in the short-term, and have no other choice than to offer my collection 45's & albums up for sale to achieve this. This shout is to make people aware of this fact and, should there be anything known to be in my possession that they would be interested in purchasing, invite them to pm me with details.. PMSL.. I got a whole box full of such stuff !! (re: first post of thread - NOT Butch's sales..) I keep them in a box marked 'potentials' - and get 'em out every 6 - 12 months to see if any have sneaked into current 'en-vogue' demands. Some have languished there for ten & five plus years, but they are VERY patient.. I pulled six new 'cover-up's' outta the box, just a year back. As tastes change I'm quite confident they will ALL 'have their day', ultimately. 'Tomorrow's Oldies, TODAY' I call's 'em Fingers

Well.. I've still got a copy going beggin', but I'd quite happily let it stay in my collection boxes - even if it were only to gather a coating of dust whilst there. I'm always more than happy to 'discuss' any & all of my items available for sale (or trade.. !!) but, at the same time, wouldn't enter into any 'unrealistic' dialogue - feeling it would be a waste of both my breath AND my time I ain't got enough time to do all I'd like to, on the record front, as it is.. As there has been a fair amount of interest when I've mentioned Denise as a good, reliable, & very competitive outlet for (especially) cardboard sleeves & the like, and people have asked for contact details to be posted up here.. The following contact details are now provided below, including an email address & telephone number, for ALL queries/orders etc. Nsoulman60@aol.com (or PM via Soul Source - FickleFingers) 01480-434589 (Ansa-phone if not available - picked up & dealt with same day) As Denise has a full time job she is not available at 'all times' to deal with the enquiries/orders. Working, as she does, for the NHS also means it is not possible to give out, or use, her works email for non-work related items. Also, & understandably, she would rather not have her personal mobile number posted on a public forum. As I have regular contact with Denise, and see her & Ray most weekends, plus usually having 'personal' stock of sleeves & mailers at home - and being in a situation that allows (almost) immediate dealing with queries/orders - Denise and I have agreed that I will act as her 'agent' to deal with any & all questions & Orders.. Using my own stock - where necessary - for any 'urgent' orders, then replacing when I next see Denise. This will be the case for the coming few months - and until or unless circumstances dictate otherwise. I hope anyone looking for record accessories will, at least, give us a shout. As it soon becomes apparent just how competitive Denise's prices can actually be in comparison to other 'usual' outlets & large companies. Late 70's - a mate's parents off to Florida on their holidays.. Given a very sort list of artists with the request that - should they get any time and if not an inconvenience and happen to find anything by the artists listed - would they mind 'picking them up'. Needless to say they didn't spend hours trudging through thrift stores, or the like, and come back with two records.. But - 'Hope you don't mind' being their apologetic offering for not bringing back crate's full of vinyl - it was the SAME record (two copies).. Willie Hutch 'Love Runs Out' (Dunhill) 'ISSUES' !! And this at a time when it wasn't even realised it got issued !! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEESULT, or what !! Fast forward to 2007 - Bidds 'niter - Bought one of them back - for a lot more than the £200 it was sold for 30 years previous, though !! Fingers

Not that I could lay my hands on it easily enough so as to 'confirm' it - in 'a box', amongst others & in the garage - from the track listing it reminds me, very much, of a tape from Tony Parker .. One of his own 'compilations'. Could be totally wrong, of course, but it did JUMP out at me immediately upon espying the listing above Fingers

That's not my call to make, Ged.. But I agree it would be useful - I'll run it past her and, with her permission, will gladly post her details under a suitably titled thread. Denise (& Ray) aren't users of this site - or the internet, really - so I could post on her behalf and provide more 'specifics' as to what she can offer, her 'customer service' excellence & it's relationship to her philosophy which dictates the competitive prices she asks. I definately think it would be of benefit to all those that have requirements for record collecting 'accessories'.. If she is agreeable - I'll start a thread in the most appropriate forum Fingers

I used to buy ALL my 'requirements' (sleeves/mailers etc) from Covers 33. UNTIL - I had the good fortune of meeting Denise North (Bradford). Whatever my request - including 'bespoke colour'sleeves (as opposed the usual extent of options: white/black/red/green/yellow ), record boxes.. EVERYTHING !! She has consistently beaten anyone else I've approached or previously dealt with. If you pm me a contact 'phone number ?? I'll txt Denise & she can then make contact direct, at a suitable & convenient time for you (if you detail 'best times' etc). I know of a few of the 'dealer' types that also buy their stock (sleeves in particular) from her - increasing their profit margins. And.. NO - I'm not on any sort of '£inder's £ee'.. More's the pity. Just passing on the benefit of my personal experience(s). Fingers..
