But it's probably the quickest way to achieving a success in the short-term (or maybe, At ALL !!) The lists will consist of (up to) TEN items (max) and will start with the (LABEL NAME) letter 'A' so if your want is on a label begining with a letter that falls from, say, 'N' - then playing the 'waiting game' is unlikely to get you your desired 45's (assuming I have them in the first place, of course). Once I commence with posting the lists they will follow the same format ie. 'ALPHABETICAL ORDER - BY LABEL' and I'll work through them until such time as either I've achieved my 'goal' or until I've listed everything. My 'normal' sales 45's are (always) ongoing and will not be effected by my closing of the 'Collection Boxes' when my target is reached. This could be within the week.. It could be a month - but do you REALLY want to take that chance ?? Possibly missing out on your wants 45's that (just might..) currently be found from within my collection ?? Rather than just repeat that which is written, below are scans of both the front & rear covers of the mentioned Maple LP. Well.. As much as my scanner would allow, at least !! Quite an interesting read - and throws a little more light on the 'topic' I feel ?? The Jo-Mar 45.. Can anyone else on here confirm my belief as to it being a 'Limited' press - I've (personally) no idea as to the 'originator' or the 'quantity' involved. As many as required ?? - WHEN required !?! And 'Produced' in 2004 ?? As a point of interest.. The 'flip' to LSTMF on the Jo-Mar 45 ('Gotta Get Away'..), and as can be seen, is INDEED lifted from the 'Uptown' LP on Maple.. BUT !! - It's a different take to the album cut, and comes in a Very p**s poor 'second' to that found on the LP. Slightly different arrangement and the vocals nowhere near as 'strong'.. Sounding (I believe) as though laid down much later (2004 maybe.. ??). In addition - the album take of 'You Don't Mean It' is ALSO (very..) different to the A&M 45 release !! Again.. Far, FAR, superior !! From it's intro on the LP cut - you wouldn't even realise that the song about to bring magical musical excellence to the 'Audio Receptor Cavities' is, actually, 'You Don't Mean It'. Providing one of those rare moments of - unexpected - but satisfyingly pleasurable surprise. I've only played it out the once, so far, at United Sound Of Soul, back on the 19 September.. But I think (at the time) the Soulie peeps in attendance didn't realise - as everyone was still trying to deal with, and blinded by, the indescribable brilliance of the 'Mercy' cover version I'd played just prior.. Anyways - Read the LP sleeve notes for yourself - and enjoy the educational experience. I did !! Fingers

Just to update those that have an interest.. Time is extremely tight at present - and I'm still being kept busty with PM's & emails from individuals who know I have particular things of interest to them, and making sales just from that avenue at present. BUT... I have now completed a spreadsheet of one of the boxes - showing Label, Artist(s), Title(s), Grade & any relevant info re condition/markings etc, and my Sell Prices. I'm off to Burnley in a few mins but, when back home tomorrow I will begin daily sales posts - of just 5 or 6 titles at a time - begining alphabetically, by label, with the letter 'A'. That way people that aren't on here everyday will still get to have a fair crack of the whip plus I won't get snowed under dealing with endless enquiries, negotiations etc. I get appx 7 messages per disc and as I'm sure you could imagine, the majority of those will come to nowt - but still demand the time to deal with them in establishing the buyers from the 'just looking' brigade. Left Maxim's in Wigan at a very reasonable time after end of play - but after a 'slight' detour - didn't arrive back home until gone 3.30pm (great fun, Kev & Co - in sunny Cannock[ish] area).. Not a problem, initself.. At least is wasn't until Ian reminded me I was due at a 'Record Meet / 'Dayer' in Bedford Hence the lack of replies to current unanswered pm's/email's - only just back in now so will endeavour to get back up to speed by tomorrow (Monday) night..
