  3. I remember seeing either a web site, or details of efforts at compiling a 'catalogue' to document some of the Canadian labels - possibly just the major ones, but not uncertain on that. Listed details included matrix, artist, and titles (at least), although with disregard to any particular genre, from memory. I'll have a scout around for any details I may have saved. If I get any joy I'll report back through this forum
  4. Close, Russ - Apex One of many Canadian labels that used that (IMO) beautiful maroon colour.. Stunning methinks..
  5. I don't know if it's of any assistance, Mark, but I'm sure Flynny (Anorak Records) had this listed not too long back.. May be worth a shout? Fingers
  6. Mine was the previous one auctioned, Ted.. Wouldn't know if this is the same copy or not - mine sold for around the £2.3k mark, from memory, somewhere around 3 years ago?
  7. Here's an item I sold in September of 2011.. £2180 !!! Only a Vg/Vg+ copy too - with very bad water damage to the sleeve !! https://www.popsike.com/Helene-Smith-on-Mega-Rare-Deep-City-Soul-LP/110737923647.html
  8. Yes.. I just made a gift payment today from my registered bank account and got charged nigh on £6 !! Won't be making any more payments via that method that's for certain - the only way of NOT being saddled with the fee is if the gift recipient pays 'em..
  9. I sold this a couple of years ago. I originally got it from a US dealer - I believe it now resides with the Willinghams..
  10. Will be listing LP's for the next few weeks - first batch now available, on auction, and all with a ridiculously low starting price of 99 pennies !! New titles each Wednesday. https://www.ebay.co.u...=p2047675.l2562 Thanks for looking..

  15. Do you mean the remix version? If so then it is from an LP, as cover-up states above - 'Verve Remixed' - but can't remember which volume off top of my head. I had it cut to carver and did my own verve label for it, so could play from a 7" as opposed the LP
  16. Thanks for that Ian - I'm still keeping a fairly low profile at the mo, but never far away from SS. Even though I don't often log on I usually peruse the site on a very regular basis. Do you have any contact details for James these days? Would like to find out a bit more from him on the HC acetate if I can.. Congrats to you and the missus - and hope you are both well. Our paths will cross again I'm certain, probs the Rugby Anniversary.. Kindest regards Fingers
  17. My sentiments exactly, Mal
  18. well.. That's totally uncanny as that scan for the CH looks to be the exact same as my copy !! - and I believe it is one and the same !?! Although mine didn't come from Pat - wonder if he actually sold the copy he listed? That Masters was cheap !?! thought it might command in the region of £150+ - ah well..
  19. Hi Kev Hope you're well buddy - please pass on my regards to the rest of 'the gang'

  22. Does anyone know the ending price on the Hayes Cotton 'I'll Be Waiting/Love Plays Funny Games' (Claire) that finished yesterday, please? I only came across it last night but didn't put a watch on it so I don't know the final figure, but it was at something like $858 dollars when I last looked.. Your assistance is much appreciated Fingers
