Both Friday and Saturday niters were great, top sessions from all djs, busy early on with numbers fading off in early hours.Lots of laughs, chat, catch up, and of course great sounds Sounds wise, loads of stop me in my tracks, and loads more to add to the list, Billed DJ line up was : Butch, Andy Dyson, Roger Banks, Bob Hinsley, Carl Willingham, Dave Rimmer, Chris Anderton, Derek Pearson, John Weston, Chic, Cliff Steele, Eddie Engle, Alex Jones, and Bernard. Caught 95% of above and all did the buisness to my ears Copped a load of great sounds upstairs bit as well, a lot of quality 70s+ Going for a chill out moment upstairs and instead being treated to Bob H doing a 6ts uptempo uproar spot, Overall a great weekend, great sounds. a laugh and everything worked well.(With the added attraction on me doorstep) 2004 - put me down Big thanks to promoters, these things must take a lot of effort and time, hats off Next years dates up as soon as out

A quick line to say that last Fridays event at the Plinston was the best yet (despite numbers being down to 300 due to illness and having too good a time at the weekender the week before!!). All 3 rooms were buzzing and Soul Sam went down a storm, playing a superb set of Modern/Crossover gems in the Main Hall that saw the floor packed and then a connissuer set in the upstairs Ghetto that made the room buzz! Top man, top set!! All the DJs did a great job in getting the dance floor packed throughout with a perfect mixture of old and new to create what many have said was our best night ever. Roll on May 9th with guests Tony Warot and Pete Hulutt and all 3 rooms open again......Herts-Full of Soul! TheBigO (* I just wanted to add here my thanks to the unsung heroes of the 6Ts Mafia, those people that distribute the flyers for us up and down the country for no other reason than they wish to help and without whom the club would not be the success it is. So, pat on the back to Winston, Juliette, Lollipop Pete, Paul & Trish, Nick Brown and cow pat on the head to Kay. Cheers people, its appreciated.)

Just a quick line for the masses (or should that be massive! BO!) re: membership for the Plinston. We have had loads of mails on this point and so thought wed post the answer here to end confusion...... Membership IS optional and NOT required for entry. You can get it on the night if you wish. Wed suggest you do apply as in future lives acts, allnighters etc will be members only. So, in conclusion, you do not need to have membership before the night (March 7th.) TheBigO

Prestatyn 2003 Midnight Hour Northern and Modern SOUL Weekender Hours to go The buzz going around is almost deafening. "See you at Prestatyn" has almost become "the" catch phase amongst soul fans world wide over the last few weeks. The inaugural one last year has been described by soul fans as "breathe of fresh air and for me personally was the event of the year" "a event for soul fans run by soul fans". "Just got back from Prestatyn in fact to sum up the whole weekend in a word....AWESOME." Latest News : Gwen Owens (just one of the many soul stars lined up) did a live link up via phone on Steve Fletchers Sunday soul show on Wire FM radio show and her enthusiasm and professionalism just shined through. Gwen says really looking forward to being part of the Prestatyn experience Accommodation - Two person accommodation available at 40 pounds per person, this is for the whole 3 nights package, and is aimed at those who would rather not share larger rooms or those who want a flexible lo-cost option.
