  5. Sad news indeed Memory says that read photo was took in uk, with either label/studio bosses?
  6. think was due to the temp move Hippo there was about 499 settings to change and i must have done 498 of them it seems to work ok now (from this end at least) again more than likely due to the move back the move was unavoidable, believe me tried to avoid it - was all about bandwidth and such on the auto-login a bit of mystery at moment as seems to work ok for some and not for others looking deeper into it on futures , possibly comes in for stick because of way it was hyped up both by some djs and sellers ?

  11. not so much worse record ever played but maybe the suprising, just played "walking thru the cemerty" (possibly some may say worse record ever but it was halloween) and then mate gave me 45 says "get this on it be a great follow up" ..a sort of female version of "return to sender" used almost same chorus by think barbara ...something. mmmmm
  12. have to smile as looked it up and for once my choice of words sort of matched what meant...if you know what I mean :0 Main Entry: ret·ro Pronunciation: 're-(")trO Function: adjective Etymology: French rtro, short for rtrospectif retrospective : relating to, reviving, or being the styles and especially the fashions of the past : fashionably nostalgic or old-fashioned

  16. often asked but never really got a definte answer on this and related first 12 inchs can always remember a local dj claiming temprees - i found love dancing on a disco floor -( remember that , wonder if it sounds as cheesy nowadays as the title - was the first one, but more than likely meant first one he saw) found a 10 page article on history of 12 inch its in french with english at bottom quite interesting with bits like had no 7 inch blanks only 10 inch etc... main info clip is "Ten Percent" is the First commercial 12" ever released. Is South Shore Commission, the first promo ? Historically, and technically it's still impossible to present you a conclusion of the first 12" out of press. but you must know that it is rumored (though unconfirmed) that Todd Rundgren released a promotional one-track 12" inch single in...1972. One more thing, Al has also in his hands a piece of the story; a 12" inch of a jazz artist (one-sided) released in 1973.On those two case, the 12" were loaned for Radio promotion only. On commercial side, things are clearest; the ever first 12" commercially produced can be accorded to SALSOUL records. It's the 12" of DOUBLE EXPLOSURE's "ten percent" record.(#SALSOUL 12D-2008). But the earliest 12" numerical is Carol Williams "More" (12D-2006). link to article is https://www.black-music-collectors.com/funk..._maxi45t_p1.htm uk ones commerical:? demo:? memory says gentleman and their ladies - like her may be one of above
  17. Worse track ever played ? could give you a few , but trouble is more than likely be someone elses top tune and could get all a bit negative on slagging snake, possibly not so much the record, maybe its just become a term (can't remember the word want to use -icon?) for all thats bad about retro northern, if you know what I mean
