nostalgic?? havent heard that for ages

used to get a fair bit of info and a few regular german soul fans passing thru and posting up here but seem to have dropped away recently for some reason thanks for passing on, think your mucker needs to throw a date on site to avoid casual visitors like cloudnine getting false idea of just what is going on in germany know theres a thriving scene there now, where abouts was it based in mid-80s always after fresh stuff so feel free to throw up any other german related news and info thanks mike

nah... sent em a email a couple of days ago, no reply, hence request for someone to give em a kick Cheers john anyway, its usually no big thing, and as said have no problem with people doing it with one or two images, such as flyer, or a photo on a forum somewhere etc etc but when do it the way they have.... ........ well, for now just say giving them benifit of doubt at moment but that is quickly running out end of day - everytime someone visits their site front page the users browser is sent here in background, it downloads 4 large images of this site and then displays them as a integral part of that site meaning their site uses this site webspace, its bandwidth and its resources to display itself ok going by number of visitors they get may have no big noticeable effect on site but thats not the issue

annoucement createda bit of interest , so if anyone who went like to pass on view, sure many inc myself will find it interesting ?

Be appreciated if anyone knocking around australia, goes and give them soul biscuit types a slap and a kick up the arse and tell them to stop "hotlinking" images from the soul-source photo gallery on their web site No hassle with people, downloading stuff and using it elsewhere, or the odd image link posted here and there, , but when they just blatently hotlink images and blag this sites bandwidth and resources that cost hard cash and then when you throw in all the hassle had trying to avoid extra bandwidth charges recently .... maybe its just ignorance on their bit, but give em a kick anyway and tell them technical term for "hotlinking" is .......robbing

Just out of interest as was mentioned in earlier threads about the current batch of releases using the soul city label design and name and their connection with the original label In one thread it was mentioned that someone was saying that the rights were bought off David Nathan to use the logo, name etc This appears not to be the case and no connection what so ever with him
