quick answer ;) to quote one reply hit the "reply" button not the "add reply" then do not alter any of the text already in the window type in stuff below it and should be ok
see box above this is how it should look before posting - its the quote bits that are important -everything between the two gets put in a box if change them then chance of mess up hope of use !

News of a forthcoming series of releases from Detroit Free Press Clipped from the above, news of a "Vol. 1 of the Complete Motown Singles" release coming soon For this current member of that demographic, the big news is this: Early next year, the greatest pop music ever made will finally be getting the respect it deserves. A division of Universal Music called Hip-O Select is releasing "Vol. 1 of the Complete Motown Singles." Its a six-disc set that compiles, in order of release, the A side and B side of every single released on the various related labels -- Motown, Tamla, Gordy, Soul and others -- from 1959 to 1961, more than 150 tracks in all.It will be followed a few months later by "Vol. 2," and then, periodically, by more sets, each collecting a years worth of single releases, concluding in 1972, when Motown officially left Detroit. Cherishing a treasureIf you know where to look, you can find illegal collections of Motown music, some duplicating albums that have never been released on CD and others collecting rare tracks that periodically have become new all over again in English dance clubs (many of which have been hosting what they call northern soul nights for years). But except for the endless greatest hits collections and movie soundtracks, Motown has been ill-served by the many hands it has moved through............ These are the "pointers and guidelines" for the "sales and wants" forum Unfortunately had to tighten up due to abuse by ebay spammers posting up misleading and hidden links. Basically if posting blank links (no listing) the place to post is the sub-forum "ebay and weblinks", along with a brief description If posting ebay/website listings with full listings then please post here
-
ack forgot to add Be aware that there is a Draft/Publish option if choose the draft - only you can see it if choose the "publish" it gets published, so all can view
-
Pete and anyone else It should work and post just same way as forum Once activated, all have to do to post is hit the Add Entry link that is on the right hand side near top that should then open up a forum type "reply" box if wanna add attachments, theres a attachment box exactly the same as the forum reply thing Bit after the event after your mass upload but may be useful If anyone having problems (tested fully - but may be something missed) feel free to shout here or via pm
-
it rings a bell, but no name or title comes through anyone assist?

Pete are these 45s available? agree with what you say about Buster Brown

mentioned below in latest news bit, but thought worth a shout up here basically each member can now have his own free web site/page its fairly easy to use - if can do a post in forum, then it should be no hassle own adress etc etc clip below A New main feature on soul source ...final one on site was addition of source soulblog - a feature that allows every member on soul source to have their own personal blog If dunno what a blog is, well easiest way to desrcibe it is own personal website - can be used for all sorts (see example/info in blog section) and as it uses all the same features/tools as the forum it should be well easy to use for all members, all same things available as in forum - formatting the text, adding images, sounds, links and so on. If you can post in the forum then can in a couple of minutes have own blog up and running complete with own personal web address Check out soulblog section here /index.php?automodule=blog there's more words and a rough example or to dive in /index.p...og&cmd=ucp_main

Cheers for views Trev Thought it was running in background, dont use the "new post" thing much so unaware they were hammering that as said its a reference thing, idea being that it collect every ebay over 100 post, and idea being over time may build up to something usefull as interefering will take it out of view, and look at better way later on as outta view have moved this to main bit so can still read
-
thanks for reply looking at tightening up on ebay and such, hard one to call as there's wide range of posters, again its the real spammers who mess it up for everyone else will push up guidelines in the sales forum once sorted
-
just me or does the pitch change thru clip? doesn't make the grade via pc speakers but did sound good out to me just re-reading above and doing bit idle wondering about the whole "sounds good out" thing along lines of does the where and how first hear a sound affect how you take it in ?
-
can't help with patti a been banging the Mary Wells version for a bit, great version imo well known? if not can throw a sound clip up
-
sure got baby huey some somewhere, if no joy elsewhere, give us a shout and will dig it out
-

All events can be featured in the flyer gallery, event guide and event forum, and get front page exposure via these sections Frequent posts purely made so that an event gets moved to the "top" of the front page are not encouraged, simply for the fact that if we all did it, we would end up with a front page full of annoying, no content, event related posts. know what i mean ? as been said here a fair few times... keep it real.... please
