Classic lp gets a cd outing Smile on my face seeing this classic lp finally geting a cd release, (now wondering where my old copy is stashed) Ronnie Laws- Every Generation Saxophonist Ronnie Laws held high profile gigs with Quincy Jones and Earth, Wind And Fire before signing with Blue Note in 1975 where his first album Pressure Sensitive yielded the hit “Always There” which is still a staple in dance clubs around the world. By Every Generation, his fourth album, Laws’s writing and production was getting so sophisticated and R&B-oriented, that he was moved to United Artists Records. With writing and producing partner William Jeffrey, Ronnie produced state-of-the-art R&B gems with this album, using his own band plus siblings Hubert and Eloise Laws and guests Larry Dunn, Joe Sample and Patrice Rushen. samples at http://www.bluenote.com/detail.asp?SelectionID=10433 1 Young Child 2 Never Get Back To Houston 3 Every Generation 4 Tomorrow 5 O. T. B. A. Law (Outta Be A Law) 6 Love’s Victory 7 Thoughts & Memories 8 As One Every Generation, now a sought after collectors’ item for DJs and club habitués, appears on CD for the first time.

It has been the soundtrack to some of the most extraordinary social, political and cultural shifts. 'Soul Deep' a definitive 2CD set with sleeve notes by soul historian Barney Hoskyns, compliments a new BBC six-part series and makes for a classic overview of one of the greatest music genres of all time. -

I am not Rufus Wood, it was and article about "Rufus Wonder". Angela Hill of the Oakland Tribune, interviewed me at my apartment in Oakland before the Soul Trip USA, 2004. My web site: https://www.rwe-usa.com . Thank you very much, Rufus Wonder.

terry lennaine show was great western express or something wasnt it ? on radio merseyside used to have a 15 min northern bit each week on monday, forgot guys name who did it, but always a listen still got tape of one somewhere radio city used to also have regular soul show as well on football/soul/liverpool thing, a chance to mention local hero again and also pass on details of a new book out, can remember him trying to explain to echo/post what the right on salute meant Its here at last - the book all Wrexham and Liverpool fans have been waiting for! Joeys autobiography! WST are offering you the chance to be amongst the first to read it! The Kop has had its heroes over the years - Billy Liddell, Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalglish ' but not many have been taken to the fans hearts quite like Joey Jones. His trademark clenched fist salute as he ran from the tunnel signalled the arrival on the pitch of a living legend. https://www.wst.org.uk/wst/index.php
