Ian Williams Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Can anyone help identify a tune that I have on a 'live' tape from about 1989/1990 from the 100 Club. I think it's Butch playing a tune he says is the Temptones and the lyrics go ...."That's when you know it , That's when your'e falling in love.......... falling in love........ falling in love" does anyone know this - its haunted me for 15 years and I've never heard it anywhere else..can anybody help - thanks. Ian.
Alan J Graham Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 hi , Can't help you with the identity other than Temptones "That's when you know you're in love" c/u . I remember Butch playing it alongside his other fantastic c/u's at that time : Del Larks , Servicemen , Diane Lewis .
Simon T Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 (edited) Not great quality, but it doesn't sound like it's the 'Temptones', but rather something like the 'Interception' - right at the very end of clip Edited May 23, 2005 by Simon T
Chalky Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 (edited) Butch still spins it now and again as the Temptones Edited May 24, 2005 by chalky

Guest in town Mikey Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 Posting for Greg: The track is an unissued acetate which turned up in the 8ts. Nigel parker was the owner i understand of one of the original acetates (i think there was 2/3 maybe). One of the acetates now resides in Australia with a former big collector. Carl Fortnum and i had dubs (copies) from Nigel and spun them the odd time when asked, may i say now that they were different takes of the one butch plays. Anyone wanna buy my copy then? Hope this helps Irish.
