Remember going down in a van to this all-nighter with my mate Tim Robinson whoes face appears many times in my albums.

Only recently completely out of the blue he said "I remember played Dane Valery "You don't know where you're interest lies" over and over on a tape all the way there and all the way back".

I've absolutely no recollection of that.

Ain't it surprising what some people remember?

Took a young guy to his first nighter here....pulled into car park to be greeted by everyone we knew and went to go in. Unfortunately drug police came over for the obvious search of our bags obviously to no avail. The newcomer decided to inform the gentleman ruffling througn his bag not to crease his trousers inside his bag.....we all fell silent as the kind gentleman turned and kindly lifted him off the floor onto the bonnet of my beetle. We fell silent as he kindly informed him not to worry because should he crease his trousers he would ensure he would crease his legs to fit into them.....the guy is now quite well known in the ashby de la zouch area as a bit of a record spinner.....halcyon days
