Great photos , is that Richard Searling and Martyn Ellis in the first picture ?

Yes it is & I think the dj could be Kev Roberts. My brother sent me the photo's, he was into the scene early days but not now.
Though it would be nice to know if any of the other faces in the photo's are still knocking around on the scene.

looking at these pics and i think marvellous...
i got onto the northern soul scene in 1974 when i was 12...only local places to start with as i wernt old enough..
but i moved on up to travelled venues as i got older...thankyou for sharing your memories through your pics it gives great meaning to the term northern soul both to the 70's soulies and the new blood that wants to get on the scene.

Oh yes, Mrs Casper, the faces have changed, the fashions have changed & the venues have changed but the passion remains as strong as ever

Hi Chrismthe dj is Rug Bowers sadlyr.i.p a very good pal of mine and I would make  a guess that the obscured face where you just see some hair,face line and tash is Wilky ,both him Rug an myself spend many great times back then,sadly also Wilky quit around the same time I did part one and hasnt been back yet.ps I say yet because I would love to see him come up to a nighter,the man like Rug and many others so sadly no longer with us  included were one off, mould breaking faces on the scene.
