Hi roggert, sorry for the late reply but I've only just seen your comment. These photos belong to my brother (Dave Urmston) & he seems to think they were taken in Samanthas Sheffield. He thinks Graham is on the far right & Russ next to him. He told me Russ was from Derby but his memory isn't too good these days.

hi chris ive been goin thru all the pics on here and realised that the fag machine was opposite the cloakroom and the doorway on my shoulder( the one with specs) is the male toilet in samanthas so my memory is as bad as i thought it was

 Russ Davy was my childhood ( 7 and 8 years old)  friend.  We grew up together in the Hunters Bar area of Sheffield.  We went to clubs together. The Ark The Highway 61 The Heartbeat

I became a musician , joined bands , went to Detroit.  Russ became a face on the Northern scene.  He was my best man.  We found our friendship again later.  Sadly not long after I was told he'd died and I went to see him at the funeral home and his cremation at City Road which was well attended by many from his Northern Soul family.
