mind yuh business - sat 4th april 2009

The next Mind Yuh Business is now scheduled for Saturday 4th April 2009 at Dex in Brixton (www.dexclub.co.uk)

Joining resident Tim K on the decks are special guests for this one - Nick Record Kicks (Boogaloo Club " Milan) who will be flying in from Italy again to join in the fun as he enjoyed it so much last time. Nick runs the label Record Kicks which champions artists such as the fantastic Baby Charles & Trio Valore " acts that have both appeared at MYB in 2008. There's also the elegant / delectable Mary Boogaloo (Blue Bar) with her unique sound and the superb Jim Cox (Reggae Train) with his amazing collection of tunes.

As if this wasn't enough there's also a live set from the amazing Karime Kendra and the Killer Meters (www.myspace.com/thekillermetersfunk). If the name rings a bell it's because Karime is the daughter of the late Ty Karim who was responsible for some of the Northern Soul classics we all know and love " Lighten Up Baby! Karime Kendra & the Killer Meters are going to continue the trend of great live acts at MYB with their unique funk sound.

As ever it's going to be very busy and a lot of fun. The night runs from 9:00pm to 6:00am and advance tickets are ¡£8 or ¡£10 on the door.

It promises to be another great night so make sure you get there!
