dodgy live at the rose club

Dodgy are huge lovers of Northern Soul and we thought it was about time that we celebrated this.

So we've put a limited edition 7" single together that includes a cover of Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)+ a brand new Dodgy song, inspired by Northern Soul.

We thought that as it's a Northern Soul inspired single, it would be very rude not to have the single launch in Wigan. It's at the Rose Club, Hindley.

We've invited the 45 Carat Soul Club along to DJ + the Wigan Young Souls, who are a bunch of teenagers who were first introduced to Northern Soul when they were asked to learn the dances and to appear in the new Elaine Constantine film 'Northern Soul' (featuring Steve Coogan and Lisa Stansfield!!), due out next year I believe. We also have Early OASIS (Definitely Maybe/Whats The Story period) sleeve designer Brian Cannon documenting the evening for his new book about the resurgence of the Northern Soul Scene.

The All Nighter (well, till 2am) is on October 20th and of course you are cordially invited.
