torch major lance's 1st appearance +judy moss doesn

Doing some research, can anyone tell me when Major Lance first appeared at The Torch, there's a pic here, wondering date? Approximately is fine, long time ago

I believe that it was October 1972 . I actually went with my wife . Unfortunately it was so packed that she feinted in the heat but we made for the Lp recording in December that year.

PS there would have been a report in Blues and Soul , which would have been fortnightly at that time.
